About Rhema Kids Club

Rhema Kids Club is a Christian faith-based program that provides Homework help and a time of Bible story sharing for children (Grades 1-7) within the McCauley and neighboring communities.

The Goals of Rhema Kids Club

– To provide additional time for children struggling academically to improve on needed skills

  • – To provide support for children struggling academically to improve on needed skills through homework (Math’s, Language Arts, Science) help.
  • – To support the all-round development of the children – academic, spiritual, physical, and emotional 

Volunteers Qualifications

– A personal relationship with Jesus Christ

– A desire to work with children and have compassion for them

– Successful Police Information and Intervention Record checks

Volunteers Responsibilities

– Commitment to work on schedule, being reliable, dependable, and punctual

– Presenting themselves appropriately, and radiating enthusiasm to help with the child’s learning 

– Provides Christ-like mentoring and encourages the children toward new opportunities and challenges

– Reports concerns to the program coordinators

What We Offer

The program is homework help and here is what it looks like:
 

– Students share their homework and the volunteers assist them with it

– If there is no homework, volunteer practices ongoing topics especially in Math’s, English, Science

– Bible Storytime.

– Arts / Craft Time

– Gym/ Play Time.

– Snack Time.
